Let's run through the Louvre.

James Franco
Just watched Milk. Amazing film.
Loving James' and Emile's hair and 70's style in the film.
(This photo is not from the film... but where oh where did i find it?!)
Turquoise Rings
I am in desperate need of a trip to the Umbrella Factory.
I lost my favorite turquoise ring in a bucket of aqua resin!

I Capture the Castle
I could watch this movie over and over.
Rose Byrne and Romola Garai are two of my favorites.
And you can never go wrong with Bill Nighy.
The lovely little costumes and scenery are to die for.
I'd like a castle, please. With a mote, of course.
(...and a gardener like Steven)

Nooks and Crannies
Do you ever find yourself sitting in strange places in your home?
I just had a 2 hour long phone conversation sitting in the tiny nook between my bed and the wall. Yesterday, I read an article for school whilst sitting on kitchen floor...

Rushmore
Watched Rushmore for the first time yesterday! (I know, I know... ) My friend Katie talks about it all the time and the movie really lived up to all her chat. It was Brilliant with a capital B!
Young Jason Schwartzman is just as wonderful as the older Jason of Phantom Planet, Coconut Records and Marie Antoinette...
...He is one bad-ass beekeeper.
Carrot Juice
I drank carrot juice for the first time today. I don't think it will be going on my top-ten list, but I can see how a nice carrot-and-some-other-fruit juice could be tasty.
(Odd, but great memory: When I was younger, my cousins and I would sit around the big kitchen table in Cape Cod and whittle away the middles of baby carrots. We would have contests to see who's could be the thinnest. Em always won.)
One of my favorite things about carrots is the great crunch they make. Carrot juice does not crunch... just saying.

Daniel Deronda
I've always loved watching BBC films. They would air on Masterpiece Theater every Sunday night when I was younger, and I watched them all the time. Wives & Daughters and the 6-hr Pride and Prejudice (Colin...) are my all-time favorites. (As an 8-year old, I was convinced I had been born into the completely wrong time period... in fact, I still think that from time to time)
I watched Daniel Deronda a few days ago and loved seeing Romola Garai and Hugh Dancy in it. It is a wonderful story based on George Eliot's Novel.

Summer Uniform
On the way to a friend's art opening last weekend, we stopped into this store spring street, next to Pinkberry. I was obsessed with all of the patterning in the room! The dresses are the perfect spring/summer uniforms. I'd like to wear this outfit in the coming days, when the weather here is supposed to hit 80!
Pillows and Patterns
Over the years my family has collected more indian blankets than I can count. All different sizes and patterns. I am excited to move into a new apartment and have a blank canvas of a room to fill with lovely colors, textures and patterns. I am going to sneak some of the blankets from home to add some pizazz!

Amelia Earhart
I did a fourth grade report on Amelia Earhart and ever since then I have held her in high esteem. Flying runs in the family and I would love to one day learn.
I am very excited to see the new film Amelia, coming out this October.
Skull and Bones
Two nights ago, I turned on the History Channel and watched a show about secret societies. They talked about the Freemasons, the Nights Templar and Yale's Skull and Bones. It was an interesting History lesson for me, coming out of a high school that has one or two secret societies of their own... read/see a bit more here.

Happy-Go-Lucky
This movie just made my day! It is beautiful. The main character, Poppy, is full of positive, crazy energy. She jumps on a trampoline (which makes me want to start that up my exercise routine...) and her attempts at flamenco dancing are to die for. Highly recommended. (Sally Hawkins won a Golden Globe for her gorgeous performance!)
